Fits 2004.5–2005 GM 6.6L Duramax LLY engines (VIN code 2) in the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500, and Chevrolet Kodiak and GMC TopKick, using CP3 pump 97303762, 97780091, or Bosch 0445020030.
Hard fitment gate — LLY only: This pump fits Duramax engines with an 8th VIN digit of 2 (LLY). Other Duramax engines use different pumps:
- 2001–2004.5 LB7 (VIN code 1): a different CP3
- 2006–2010 LBZ / LMM (VIN codes D and 6): a different CP3
- 2011–2016 LML (VIN code 8): the CP4

Installation note: Use a new gasket kit (DGK601), clean fuel, and new fuel filters. If the old pump failed internally, inspect the fuel system for debris before installing. Follow GM's pump installation and timing procedure, and prime the fuel system before starting.
