Genuine BorgWarner B2UV-63 turbocharger, part number 12639880004, in new condition for Navistar MaxxForce 7 6.4L engines with EPA07 emissions. BorgWarner is the original equipment manufacturer for this turbocharger. Supplied complete with the actuator installed. This is the single-turbocharger EPA07 application — EPA10 MaxxForce 7 engines use a two-stage compound turbo system and this unit will not serve them.
Key Features
Specifications
Warranty
Backed by BorgWarner Turbo Systems' 12-month warranty from the date of purchase by the end user, covering defects in material and workmanship. Warranty does not extend to competition applications or uses not approved in writing by BorgWarner.
Compatibility & Fitment
Fitment gate — this is the single-turbocharger EPA07 application. EPA10 MaxxForce 7 engines use a two-stage compound system with separate high-pressure and low-pressure turbochargers, and this unit does not replace either half of it. Confirm your emissions era before ordering.
Second fitment gate — read the part number off the turbo you are removing and match it before ordering. If your existing unit carries 176180, 177328 or 177539, this is the current replacement.
Installation note — BorgWarner specifies inspecting the air cleaner, air cleaner duct and exhaust manifold for foreign material before fitting, since debris left in those areas can damage the turbocharger immediately on startup. Remove old gasket material from the exhaust manifold and the oil supply and drain line flanges, and inspect both lines for cracking, kinks or restriction. Replace them if there is any doubt.
Conclusion
This is the genuine BorgWarner B2UV-63 turbocharger for the EPA07 Navistar MaxxForce 7 6.4L, supplied new and complete with the actuator. It is the current revision, replacing three earlier part numbers. Confirm your engine is EPA07 rather than EPA10 before ordering, since the EPA10 engines use an entirely different two-stage turbo system.
