Pickups from the same years use the LML Duramax (VIN code “8”) and a different turbo. Earlier LMM, LLY and LBZ engines use a different turbocharger. Check the RPO list in your glovebox for LGH, or confirm the 8th digit of your VIN is “L.” On cab-and-chassis trucks, also read the number on your existing turbo.
