Three hard fitment gates apply:

Tank interface. Hose bead, secured by a hose clamp. Will not fit six-bolt, SAE flange or bore-seal tanks.

Sensor output. Analog level and temperature. Other headers in this range use digital CANbus.

Engine. This is the Detroit version. The Cummins equivalent is a separate part replacing Freightliner 04-30774-001.

Installation — from the DuraWRX manual:

Tools required are a socket wrench, hex screwdriver, flathead screwdriver and water.

Orient the foot of the header away from the filler port. Use water as a lubricant on insertion and do not force it. Check the base sits flush with the tank rim before clamping.

Torque the header hose clamp to 44 ±4 lbf-in and the tank mounting bracket bolts to 128 lbf-ft (174 N-m).

Hose routing: the DuraWRX header places its DEF and coolant ports differently from the Freightliner original. If the existing hoses will not reach, remove the hose bracket and cut the two zip tie bundles, then loop the hoses around the opposite side of the tank.
