Hard fitment gate — ESN range: This injector is for engines with ESN 3,000,001 to 3,300,000. It does not fit:

• 2010–2014 MaxxForce 9 and 10, or 2015 N9 / N10, engines above that ESN range. Those use a different G2.9 injector (Navistar 1890057C92 / 1890058C2).
• The 2007–2010 MaxxForce DT (210–300 HP), which uses its own G2.9 injector (Navistar 1848718C92 / 5010561R91).

Installation note — high-pressure oil rail: Replacing G2.9 injectors requires removing the high-pressure oil rail. The injector inlet seals are part of the oil rail, and they must be replaced before the rail is reinstalled. Order a high-pressure oil rail seal kit, such as Alliant Power AP0025, with your injectors.

Installation note — preparation: Use only clean, fresh fuel, and replace the fuel filter before starting the engine. Clean the injector bore and seating surface thoroughly, and make sure the old injector's seals have been removed. Do not over-torque the injector or its electrical connections, since this can cause irreversible damage. Follow the OE torque specifications for your engine.
