Fitment gate — unit pump engines only:
This is the mechanical injector for MBE engines with Bosch unit pumps. It is not the common rail injector used on the later Detroit DD13 and DD15. Read the part number off the injector you are removing and confirm it appears in the reference list above.
Installation: replace the injector seals and the copper heat shield washer on every installation. Torque the hold-down to Mercedes specification.
